#11 Crypto Cockpit: Strength Tab
11 Crypto Cockpit: Strength Tab
The Strength tab shows a per-coin Buyer/Seller Strength score: an automated read of whether buyers or sellers are currently in control for the coin you’re viewing, on three timeframes at once.

How the score works
Each timeframe (1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day) gets its own score from -100 to +100:
- A positive score (green) means buyers are currently dominant
- A negative score (red) means sellers are currently dominant
- A score close to 0 (within ±5) is shown as neutral
Each score card also breaks the score down into three components:
- Trade flow — the balance of aggressive buy vs. sell trades
- Orderbook — the balance of resting buy vs. sell orders
- Price response — how price is reacting to that flow
Strength over time
Above the score cards, a bar chart plots the 1-hour strength score over time (EWMA-weighted, with a 15-minute half-life, so recent activity counts more than older activity). Bar color follows the same buyer/seller/neutral coding as the score cards, and hovering a bar shows its exact timestamp and score.
A note on this tab
The Strength score is generated automatically from trade and orderbook data — it is not personalized advice, it can shift quickly as new data comes in, and it is not a guarantee of what price will do next. Treat it as one input among many, not as instructions to buy, sell, or hold.
