Binance ended spot trading for Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK) on October 28 at 03:00 UTC, Blockchain Reporter reported. The exchange first announced the delisting on October 14, and open orders were automatically canceled when trading stopped.
The wind-down follows a fixed schedule, all in UTC. Deposits stop being credited on October 29 at 03:00, and withdrawal support ends on December 28 at 03:00. On December 29 at 03:00 Binance may convert remaining balances into stablecoins for users, though the exchange says this conversion “is not guaranteed.” Holders who want to keep the tokens therefore need to withdraw them before the end of December.
Binance described the move as part of a routine review of listed assets. It lists ten possible criteria, including trading volume, liquidity, development activity and tokenomics, but did not say which applied to EPIC or QUICK.
The two tokens are small. QUICK traded near $0.0072 on Binance and fell about 27% over the previous 24 hours, with a market capitalization of about $6.9 million according to CoinGecko in late October. EPIC traded near $0.098 against USDT.
Blockchain Reporter links the move to a broader cleanup. A day earlier, Binance announced it would delist 22 tokens and restrict eight services in Brazil under new central bank rules. This is news, not investment advice.
