Strive bought 124 bitcoin for roughly $10 million between Oct. 24 and Oct. 30, bringing its holdings to 43,124 BTC, according to a Monday SEC filing cited by The Block. That is a slowdown from October, when the company acquired about $1.25 billion of bitcoin.
Based on Bitcoin Treasuries data cited in the article, Strive ranks fourth among public holders. Strategy leads with 849,327 BTC, followed by Metaplanet at 44,000, Twenty One at 43,514 and Strive. MARA holds 35,577. Strive is 390 BTC behind Twenty One and needs about 877 BTC to pass Metaplanet, assuming Metaplanet does not buy more. CEO Matt Cole has long aimed to make Strive the second-largest public bitcoin holder by year-end.
Strive ended Oct. 30 with $490.4 million in cash and equivalents, down $14 million from the prior week. Cole said on X that most of the latest purchases were funded with existing cash, a claim from the company’s own CEO. Strive also used its SATS preferred stock at-the-market program for the first time. The program launched Oct. 26 and allows sales of up to $1 billion of SATS preferred shares. It also holds 505,000 shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock, valued at about $50.1 million.
The Block’s own estimate puts the required pace below 100 BTC per week for the rest of 2026, though the count depends on the starting date.
