第一，黑客在Tron上创建了自己的代币。多个地址用被盗资金购买该代币，而另一个地址则免费获得新铸造的代币并将其出售，这样价值得以转移，而可疑钱包之间无需直接转账。第二，一个地址在借贷平台上存入稳定币并获得一种收据代币。只有这枚收据被发送到第二个地址，后者再将其赎回为稳定币，使资金流看起来像是互不相关的存款和取款。只有同时追踪收据代币的转移，这种关联才会显现。
第三，来自一个跨链桥的资金被直接发送到第二个跨链桥的存款地址，省去了原本可能引起调查人员或交易所警觉的中间钱包。
这些手法建立在攻击发生后最初几天赃款迅速分散到众多服务的基础之上。Crypto Insiders强调，这些手法并不能抹去公开的交易记录；它们只是让追踪变得更慢、更费力。币安表示，在被盗的超过63亿美元中，目前约有28.5亿美元已被冻结或拦截。
