Celestia launches Eden, an EVM chain for AI agent experiments, as TIA rallies

Celestia Launches Eden, an EVM Chain for AI Agent Experiments, and TIA Jumps Over 20%

Celestia announced Eden on October 16, a high-performance EVM chain built on Celestia and designed for what the team calls agentic commerce experiments. According to the announcement, the goal is to research what AI agents need and how they behave on-chain.

Celestia says AI agents have already started trading on-chain, and that growing transaction volumes will require significant block space. That ties Eden to Celestia’s core data availability pitch: if autonomous software generates far more transactions than human users, cheap and scalable block space becomes the bottleneck. Eden is positioned as a testing ground rather than a finished product, so the real-world demand it produces remains to be seen. The reports reviewed give no further technical details, such as throughput targets or fee levels, which makes early usage data the main thing to track.

The market reacted quickly. Depending on the time window, reports put the gain in Celestia’s TIA at roughly 23% to more than 30% over 24 hours. One report had TIA near $0.754, while another cited about $0.70 at publication. Analysts point to $0.80 as the next resistance level.

AI-agent narratives have driven sharp but short-lived moves in altcoins before. Traders should watch whether TIA holds its gains once the initial headline momentum fades, and whether Eden shows measurable usage in the coming weeks.
