据汇丰自己的稳定币页面显示，汇丰的港元稳定币RedCoin（RCHKD）现已在该行的PayMe应用上线。汇丰正向超过330万名PayMe用户逐步开通钱包激活，用户可向朋友、家人和参与的商户即时转账。汇丰香港手机银行app版本仍列为即将推出。
RedCoin以港元为参照，并可按条款以1:1赎回。它依据香港金融管理局（HKMA）的稳定币发行人牌照发行，由存放于独立账户中的高质量、高流动性储备资产支持，并运行在汇丰自有的分布式账本网络上。PayMe稳定币钱包独立于用户的银行账户，也独立于未来汇丰香港app中的任何钱包，两者之间的余额无法互相转移。消费者可在任何接受PayMe的商户付款。
汇丰声明，RedCoin不是受保障存款，也不在存款保障计划的保障范围之内。截至10月24日，RedCoin的流通量约为8,070万港元，对应的储备约为8,170万港元，首次独立储备证明预计在2026年第四季度之后发布。
汇丰于9月30日公布了该名称，目标是2026年下半年推出。HKMA在4月向汇丰和Anchorpoint颁发了香港首批稳定币发行人牌照，Anchorpoint的HKDAP则于8月开始分阶段推出。汇丰还警告称，其他地方使用其名称的代币并非汇丰所有。
